The Association’s requirements are as follows:

Near Shoulder

Owner’s registered brand

Off Shoulder

Individual number over the relative year number. Horses must be individually numbered starting at No 1 for each year, irrespective of sex or category, and all foals each year shall be numbered in the same order
in which they are born.

Off Buttock

Horses eligible for Appendix Recording may be branded on the off buttock with an ‘A’.
