Prefixes

Members may apply for the use of a prefix in the naming of horses. This should not be confused with the necessity to register the business name of the stud with the appropriate State Authority.

Once a prefix has been allocated to a member, the member may not change the prefix although the member may choose to discontinue the use of it.

Application for the allocation of a prefix shall be made on the appropriate form and accompanied by the appropriate fee.
