Send this log into the AQHA office, and at incremental levels you will receive special AQHA Horseback Riding Program awards. You're competing against no one but yourself, and you can progress at your own rate.

WHAT OTHER INFORMATION SHOULD I KNOW?
Now riding an Australian Quarter Horse is more rewarding than ever. There is no enrolment deadline or time limit. You need not be the owner of the horse, but it must be registered with the AQHA and the horse’s owner must be financial. You can ride more than one horse (providing the horse you ride is a registered Quarter Horse owned by a financial member). Hours can be accrued while exercising, trail riding, nearly anything other than competing. You are competing on an honour system, you record your hours on horseback, you monitor your progress.
WHAT ARE THE REGULATIONS?
Winning is as easy as riding an Australian Quarter Horse and following some very simple regulations. You must be a financial member of the AQHA, logged hours will only be recorded whilst membership is financial. You must ride a registered Quarter Horse belonging to a financial member. You must not currently be participating in any other type of point scoring event.
