Terry McSweeney

"I strive to facilitate all members of the Australian Quarter Horse Industry, whilst embodying professionalism and integrity."

I am proud to represent the members of the AQHA and with your assistance help guide the Association to its full potential. I have been an active participant in the western industry for over 20 years. I am passionate about the Australian Quarter Horse as I believe they are the most versatile and well natured natured breed. I appreciate all disciplines in which the versatile Quarter Horse excels. Through my involvement in a mobile western store I have been exposed to many of these disciplines.

I am fully aware of the dedication needed to serve on the Board of the AQHA as I have previously been fortunate enough to serve on the Board on several sporting associations. I also was an active committee member of western performance affiliates.

I enjoy travelling around Australia with my partner Joan and offsider Tillie, a Jack Russel. Our spare time is spent with our six grandchildren and riding our three Quarter Horses.
