Peter Bellden

I have been a horse enthusiast all my life and currently live on Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Together with my wife Kerrie we run a Quarter Horse stud and have been actively breeding since the 80's. BPS is our stud prefix and many a champion has been bred on our Peachester property.

I have been serving the membership as a member of the Board over an eleven year period commencing in 1995 and have been President of AQHA on 4 occasions and Deputy President twice.

The belief in the breed and the drive from within is the fuel that keeps me going. I have several successful companies in Australia and serve as a Director on all of those companies.

As the AQHA Direction has evolved in modern times, due mainly to the responsible management of the business, I am proud to have played a part in the transition from a small group of enthusiasts to a large corporate entity, without loosing sight of the lifestyle the Quater Horse delivers to all who love their horses.
